New Moon Celebration – Reveal your biggest dreams

The moon cycle is 28 days long and has a strong influence on our energies. While the full moon completes this cycle and brings the energies of completing, ending, changing, and releasing those things that no longer serve us, the new moon brings the energies of creation, birth, rebirth, and manifestation.

One of the best ways to honor and recognize this energy and use it to maximum benefit is to create a New Year’s Eve party. There are many ways to create a party for this purpose, and while I share the New Moon Party that I enjoy every month with my twin flame, Boyd Campbell, I want you to follow your guidance and intuition in creating a New Moon Party that resonates with you. If this resonates with you, then perfect! If not, make your changes until it does, or create something completely new.

You can perform this ceremony with others or on your own, and it is very powerful, especially when it becomes a regular part of your monthly spiritual cycle. Your intentions will change as you go, so doing this every month will keep your intentions clear and focused, bringing renewed dedication. This ceremony is a natural progression after the full moon release ceremony.

The New Moon is a good time to reflect, clarify, and focus on what we wish to create and manifest in our lives. So let’s get started!

What you will need:

  • Incense sage or sage
  • one or more of the following; Jasmine incense, cloves incense, sage incense, patchouli incense, cinnamon incense, lavender incense, vanilla incense, musk incense, amber incense, frankincense incense, lilac incense, sandalwood incense, cedar incense
  • feather
  • Himalayan salt (in a plate)
  • water (in a plate)
  • white candle
  • Citrine Crystals (2)
  • Clear Quartz Crystals (2)
  • Paper with a pencil or pencil for writing
  • Coincidence or dish
  • lighter or matches

1. To get started, use your sage to stain your ceremony area and yourself, including your sacred space/altar. Either white sage or white sage incense will work. By smearing yourself with sage, you are removing all negative energies and leaving your space and aura clean – a clean slate for your make-believe ceremony.

2. Now decide which of the incense or incense blends resonates with you at this ceremony. Light it up and leave it burning throughout the party.

Financial and physical manifestations (financial matters, possessions such as a new home):

Sage, mint, basil, cloves, jasmine, patchouli, and cinnamon

Health and well-being (treatment of physical ailments, increased energy, and enhanced vitality):

amber, Frankincense, sage, lavender, lilac, or cinnamon

Love and Relationships (Heal a Relationship, Attract Your Soulmate, Make Yourself More Attractive): Cinnamon, jasmine, musk, lavender, vanilla, or patchouli

Spiritual growth: sandalwood, jasmine, musk, cedar, lavender or anise

Protection from harm: Frankincense or sage

Strength and courage: Lavender, musk, or cinnamon

fertility: patchouli or musk

3. Now is the time to prepare your alternate/sacred space. I like to combine the four elements; Earth, water, fire and air. I do this by preparing a cup of water (water), a cup of Himalayan salt (earth), a feather (air) and lighting my white candle (fire). The white candle symbolizes universal awareness, purity, truth, unity, happiness and spirituality – divine connection.

4. Citrine and Clear Quartz – Great crystals for a theme party. Arrange your crystals on your alternate/sacred space however you feel is right for you. Boyd and I like to put them in a square pattern representing the four directions. Citrine is the cornerstone of manifestation, imagination and personal will. Carrying the power of the sun, it energizes and gives life, clears the mind and turns the soul to action. Clear Quartz is a high vibration crystal that aids focus, increased awareness, inspiration and creativity. It is also an amplifier, thus amplifying the power of your intent and the power of citrine crystals.

5. Now take a few moments to be quiet and meditate. You can invite mentors, angels, ascended masters, or anyone else you’d like to have with you. When you’re ready, write down on a piece of paper what you want to show. Make a list of what you want to create in your life. Think big, these are your dreams! The New Moon is the perfect time to bring to light what you may feel elusive, so don’t be afraid to form your vision here. These are more than just words on a piece of paper, by writing down your intentions you are making a commitment to share with the universe. You open doors and move your dreams. At the top of the paper, write, “I openly accept these things in my life, or something better than I ever imagined, for the greater good of all concerned. So be it.”

6. A big part of being successful with your new moon manifestations is keeping them at the forefront of your awareness. Keep it in a visible place, or in your purse or purse. A journal about your progress.

7. Make Adjustments to Your List As the month goes on, it’s normal for your desires to change over time. Check the things you received. You may find it helpful to make a collage of vision or dreams with pictures of what they show, and be sure to take the time to look at them each day, focusing on how you feel as you imagine these things actually exist.

8. Each month you will renew this list in a recurring ceremony to mark the new moon, thus rededicating your intentions.

Important factors to note:

  • For those of you who are compatible with Reiki, use your Reiki throughout the ceremony and if you are compatible with Reiki Symbols, draw them on your paper.

  • For those who know how to make crystal grids, put this list into a grid and keep it charged.
