One of the biggest (if not the biggest) questions surrounding the subject of a Law of Attraction or the secretis the time. How long does it take to express my wishes? And if you re-watch The Secret, James Arthur Ray Briefly mention this phenomenon when people start using the Law of Attraction.
Once someone learns about the Law of Attraction, they get excited about it and experience it. After a while, they don’t see the score coming (although in reality this score is already starting to penetrate them), they say to themselves, “You know, this stuff doesn’t work” and they join the haters club.
There is clearly a gap of understanding when it comes to the timeline. I think a change is needed, when discussing the timeline for expressing the Law of Attraction.
Most of the questions revolve around, “How long before I get my dream home?”
Whereas, the most appropriate question to ask anyone trying to (consciously) experience the Law of Attraction is, “How much time should I invest in the phases of manifestation?”
The three stages of emergence
A manifestation of any kind occurs in three sequential stages. Emphasis is placed on the word serial. what does that mean? This means that you have to completely clear the first stage and after that, you are moving in the right direction.
What are the stages? They are in order. The decision stage, the continuous action stage, and the result stage.
Phase 1: Decision – Why attracting a car is easier than attracting money
Decide what you want, and stick to it!
Your first job when it comes to manifesting or applying the Law of Attraction is to come to a firm and great decision about what you would like to have in your life.
Watching The Secret, I think most people will then go out to attract more money into their lives. This is a good decision. But what’s a great decision for you when it comes to attracting more money into your life – how much money?
It makes sense to have a clear and precise decision with everything else in your life, so why let it go when it comes to attracting money into your life? This is why most people fail when it comes to attracting money into their lives.
Compare that to pulling a car. If anyone asked you about buying a new car, chances are your thoughts would be more accurate. You’ll tell them the make, year, color, trim, and gadgets you’d like to have with that new car.
The reason it is easier to attract a car than money is that you are less likely to change your mind when it comes to a car. Once you’ve decided it will be a 2009 Honda City E-spec in Alabaster Silver, come with Modulo body kit, you’ve probably given a lot of thought to the car.
Back to attract money. At first you wanted to attract $10,000 into your life. After a while, this number changes and becomes $20,000. Later on, you had another good idea or something, and decided to go back to just attract your initial $10,000. When you change your mind about your ultimate goal or destination, what you’re doing is resetting the entire pretending process.
What’s worse, you change your mind at the second stage. This means, you have to start over.
a period.
Phase II: Persistence – Non-negotiable period of at least 90 consecutive days
Here’s another quick quiz for The Secret fans and haters reading this; what did he do Jack Canfield He says he did every morning before he published his world-famous book Chicken soup for the soul books?
W Clement Stone Challenge him to have a great, great goal. Jack was making $8,000 a year and so he wanted something really measurable and announced to Stone that he would like to make $100,000 a year.
By the way, this is the first stage.
The answer is, every day it is He imagines himself actually achieving the goal of making $100,000 a year and what kind of lifestyle he would live with that amount of money..
The focus in phase two is on each day, and nothing major happens to him in the first 30 days. Four weeks after starting phase two, nothing has happened. What do you think most of us do? I continue? Or just leave?
And what do Jack Canfield and all the other experts on The Secret do? They insistently go into it. One day while taking a shower, Jack gets an idea about the book he wrote. Six weeks later, he was bumping into a woman who works for the National Enquirer. Connections were made, one thing leading to another and sales of his books began to take off like a rocket!
The second stage is where the pieces fall into place; People, event, and circumstances begin to be attracted to you by your daily actions.
Imagine and feel that you already have what you want every day until you get it. And when you get that inspiring idea, believe in it and act on it. And never change your mind about what you want in your life.
The third stage – the result stage
This is the part where you achieve your dreams and desired goals. The third stage will take care of itself, if you take care of the first two stages.
The impasse of the second stage
What is the difference between exercising or exercising and just thinking about it?
The (main) difference is in the working part. You think of working out and going to the gym, and actually lifting and running and crunching are two completely different things.
The same applies to your ongoing actions in the second phase. There’s a huge difference between thinking, imagining, and feeling what it’s like to have $100,000 and the $100,000 lifestyle, and actually taking the time to visualize pictures of owning that amount of money and lifestyle—the car you drive, the house they live in, the places you go on vacations, and so on.
One is wishful thinking. The other is continuous work.
Summary in two minutes
Decide what you really want, and stick with that decision. For at least 90 days, for at least five minutes, imagine and feel the desired result actually achieved. Do this consecutively, without fail. If you break the line, reset the counter and start from zero again. If it lasts for 90 consecutive days, you have an inspiring idea. Trust the thought, act on it, and continue your imagination every day. The result will take care of itself if you pay attention to your decision and your ongoing actions.
